Real Estate Company Serving Businesses
real estate projects in Nouvelle-Aquitaine.
Origin of the SEML Route des Lasers
In order to enhance and optimize the economic impact of the Laser Mégajoule (LMJ)* on civil research and industrial activities, the State and local authorities decided in 2002 to implement a territorial development program called “Route des Lasers.” This led to the successive creations in 2004 of the SEML Route des Lasers, in 2005 of the ALPHA Route des Lasers association (a competitiveness cluster), and in 2007 of the ALPHANOV association (a technology and training center).
Since 2013, the scope of SEML Route des Lasers’ activities has been expanded to include all technological and scientific sectors in Nouvelle-Aquitaine.
* A major research instrument dedicated to the study of dense and hot plasmas within the CEA’s Simulation program. The LMJ is one of the most powerful lasers in the world, used for defense applications and also made available to the international scientific community for academic research experiments.
